Drove out to Bird Point to watch the Bore Tide, it a wave that happens every day when the tide returns to the inlet. People try and surf it everyday, pretty cool!

More wave....
We then decided to head to Girdwood (ski town up the Seward Hwy) for dinner and to show mom around! The next day we left to head for Seward, AK. We had a glacier tour planned and had a great time! Was one of the best things I've done in Alaska by far, wish the weather was better but it turned out great!
Potty break with a view!
The best driver/boyfriend!
Amazing views along the way to Seward, AK!
Once in Seward, we headed to the Sea Life Center and got close and personal with the animals we would see the next day.
Then we headed to Exit Glacier, which is a few miles out of town. It is only a .9 mile walk in to the edge and is shrinking more every year.
Getting closer.....
At the edge of Exit glacier!
A view of the Glacier and the plain is use to extend to.
The next morning we headed to catch our boat to start our glacier tour. It was a little cloudy and a few showers but still excited. We saw a ton of wildlife and some of the best things in Alaska, me and Kip got sea sick but still had a great time!
Our boat for the day!
Dall Porpoise, they look similar to Orcas but are a lot smaller.
We then found the pod of Orcas and followed them through the inlet.
Amazing up close
Next we headed to the cliffs and found a mountain goat with her baby or kid.
The kid followed her everywhere!
Sea Otters!! So cute!
Puffin, hard to catch a picture of these little things!
First view of the glacier
Harbor seal on the ice.
Glacier falling, the loud noises were amazing and you could hear the ice move!
Leaving the glacier, we ran into a certain "shy" hump back. The next few minutes were amazing and still cant believe we saw a huge hump back whale do the things he did.
Going for a full body breach!
Still cant believe we saw this, and so happy I caught it!
Waving at us and then one last jump!
Hard to top that but we headed back to port and caught a little more wild life on the way!
Sea lions, resting on the rocks.
An AMAZING day! Headed back to Anchorage after getting back to port. The next day I took mom downtown and to a weekend street fair. It was a great time and we even saw some native dancers. That night we decided to head to one of our fav places to eat for music and dinner. Humpys!

Headed to watch the sunset after dinner!
The next day we headed to the Anchorage museum and to have "street meat" or reindeer hot dogs! Yummmmo
The final day we headed out to Whittier AK for lunch, it rained all day but we ended the day with a great dinner! Had such a good time visiting with mom and cant wait to live closer very soon!
On the way to Whittier
One way tunnel to Whittier AK, until the tunnel was opened, you could only reach it by sea or air!
Waiting to leave Whittier through the one way tunnel!
Before my birthday dinner! Yay
Before heading to dinner for my birthday, then mom was headed to the airport for her flight home!
