Memorial Day .....Sayyy WHAAA def some suprises!!!

So I was really excited to be off of work and for Kip to have a 4 day weekend to hang out. Well lets just say it didn't start off very well....................
Yepp....that is my car on a boulder....funny now but I was freaking out. Was trying to turn around and didn't see it coming out of the ground. Whoooops.

Called out the big guns!
Getting there.
Finally!!!
It was a super frustrating experience but thank goodness there was not a lot of damage and Kip didn't kill me! And it all worked out in the end.

Decided to head downtown for a block party and fashion show, and then decided to head back to a friends house for some chill time after a stressful day for everyone.
How to open a bottle without a wine opener......

Our plan was to head up to Hatchers Pass for some hiking and camping......but the weather had other plans. Just shows how different the weather can be just 45min away.
Not happy.... we hate snow! So we decided to head to Lake Eklutna in Chugach State Park. We had a great time hiking and had some amazing views!
Love <3
Made it to the top after an up hill climb, still feeling it in the booty!

The view from the bench at the top..... Twin peaks! (little cloudy)

Amazing! View of Lake Eklutna
Working on my wood knocks, for the squatches....practice

Resting up then headed home. Decided to have a sleep over at a friends house and go squatch hunting. Had to teach a few people the facts and certain techniques. Thank goodness I had my professional caller!

Had a great cook out, ball game and dance party the next night and had a blast. Also we went to see Kip's Aunt and Uncle at the airport for the start of their Alaska vacation! Took them around Anchorage and had dinner the next day, sad I have to work on Wed and wont get to see them but hope they have a great trip!
Kabobs..... my fav!

Shots, Shots, Shots!
Bringing the Wobble to Alaska! haha
Had a great weekend and love that our family visitors have started coming, cant wait to hear about their adventures! Not excited about going back to work but only 6 more shifts, and hoping I get a job in Columbia soon! Well keep everyone posted about the decision. Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend and thankful for all my military family in Alaska!!
